With our focus on timely and efficient solutions, particularly in the Northeastern United States, we are looking for a dedicated professional who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a local driver, you'll handle critical delivery operations that fuel our success and maintain our reputation as a leader in the transportation industry. Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods to various local destinations within the Northeastern region, ensuring all deliveries are timely and secure. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and comply with all DOT regulations and safety standards. Maintain accurate logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Coordinate with the logistics team to manage deliveries, route planning, and schedule optimization. Handle necessary paperwork including delivery confirmations and maintain records of each transaction. Demonstrate excellent customer service during pick-up and delivery and resolve any issues that arise in a professional manner. Strong driving skills with ability to maneuver and park large vehicles Proficiency in using GPS and other routing systems Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting and moving heavy goods Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and logistics team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) Clean driving record DOT Medical Card
