Syracuse Glass The Shipping Loader/Unloader is focused on preparing our products for delivery and reports to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual who has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attendance and some mechanical skills. Job responsibilities include: On/off loading of glass from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours daily Assembling boxes, crates, or containers Labeling and marking containers and insert lining or padding material to protect items during shipment Weighing, measuring and counting product Packing items according to shipping needs or supervisors' specifications, ensuring that the crates/boxes and packages are accurately packed Completing clerical tasks with the ability to use shop floor computer and RF equipment Conducting inspections to examine products and make sure they meet our specifications for quality and aren't damaged Position Pay Range $20 - $20 USD What OBE Offers You Benefits that benefit you – industry competitive benefits at the lowest cost to the employee Work-life balance – PTO and holidays, including floating holidays you can choose Compensation that rewards your hard work – A pay-for-performance culture with potential for annual raises and bonuses Training – We will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed OBE Privacy Policy OBE will not discharge or discriminate against employees or applicants for discussing, disclosing, or inquiring about their own or others' pay.
