Job Description:

Operating CNC Form Grinding Machines, grinding high grade precision tooling to tight tolerances. This is for candidates with previous experience in Manufacturing and Machining. Training on Equipment is provided. Shift: Four, 10-hour days Day Shift Sun-Wed Earn $22.00 - $26.00 /hr starting, Based on experience. Regular pay raises available. Ability to learn and Cross Train in multiple departments. Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Overtime Weekends as needed Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In Person, Orchard Park, New York 14127 Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Scope of Responsibilities: Operate CNC Grinding Machines. Hold very precise tolerances. Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to improve quality and reduce scrap. Inspect inserts for both dimensional and visual defects. Set up machines for production runs. Learn and use conversational CNC programing. Qualifications: Good analytical ability. Problem solving skills. Great team working skills. High school diploma or GED. 1 year in a production manufacturing environment 1 Year of Experience in CNC Machining or Completed/pursuing a degree or certificate course in related field. (preferred) Experience with precision measuring equipment. (preferred) Experience with reading and following instructions from CADD drawings and/or Job Travelers.
