Job Description:
The successful candidate will assume a technical leadership role as an FPGA subject matter expert within the L3Harris Tactical Commication Division engieering organization. The candidate will work in a collaborative team environment with cross functional teams to architect, design, and verify digital solutions in FPGA firmware for embedded Radio Communication Systems. The candidate will also mentor and lead less experienced FPGA developers in implementing and verifying solutions in FPGA firmware.
Essential Functions:

• 
  
• Ability to analyze system requirements and architect FPGA based processing solutions using the latest FPGA digital technology.
  
• Experience implementing complex interfaces and signal processing solutions in FPGA devices. Equivalent experience in ASIC design is also applicable.
  
• Proven experience in achitecting, implementing, and verifying complex signal processing algorithms in FPGAs and Software
  
• Experience in requirements analysis, evaluating use case scenarios, conceptual design, trade studies, test, operation, and maintenance of communications products.
  
• Experience working in a LINUX based FPGA development environment
  
• Experience working with cross functional teams to define and implement digital embedded system solutions.
  
• Expereince in development of high-level and detailed verification test plans consistent with system requirements and specifications
  
  Basic Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
    
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
    
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
    
    Preferred Additional Skills/Qualifications:
    
    • 
      
    • Ability and willingness to obtain a Secret security clearance
      
    • Expereince in preparing and presenting design reviews for internal and external customers.
      
      In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $104,000- $193,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
