Job Description:

We are currently seeking Equipment Service Technician Machine Repair Preventative Maintenance able to work A/C rotation shifts. Hours: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

PPE: Clean room garb consisting of coverall, hair cover, hood, mask/veil, safety glasses, shoes/boots/covers, cotton glove liners, latex over gloves and additional PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required. Clean room shoes will be ordered after 30 days. Until shoes received, should wear rubber sole shoes like sneakers.

Job Description:

The Equipment Service Technician Machine Repair Preventative Maintenance- maintain state of the art semiconductor production equipment utilized in the manufacture of charged couple devices, specifically image sensors. This individual will work mandatory day/night shift schedule in a multi - floor clean facility requiring specialized gowning and work practices. Ability to perform all necessary job functions while fully covered in a clean room suit consisting of coverall, hair cover, hood, mask/veil, safety glasses, shoes/boots/covers, cotton glove liners, latex over gloves and additional PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required.

Key Responsibilities of the Equipment Service Technician Machine Repair Preventative Maintenance

-Responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of multimillion dollar equipment running as efficiently as possible

-Supports the Operations & Engineering groups to improve the capability of manufacturing processes and tool performance.

-Defines & executes required maintenance work in a timely fashion, with quality workmanship

-Disassemble, clean and inspect parts and pieces of the machinery such as process chambers in addition to other mechanical and electrical components

-Assists operations in establishing a maintenance program so that short and long term operating plans can be met and repairs can be anticipated, planned, and scheduled.

-Actively participates w/production & engineering to create and implement a comprehensive maintenance program.

-Converts emergency work to planned work by anticipating it.

-Makes repairs and replacements at intervals required for optimal operating efficiency and in a manner creating as little production loss as possible.

-Constantly strives to improve maintenance work methods, completeness, and neatness with a goal of quality work at minimal cost.

-Develops techniques for predicting failures of critical facilities & equipment w/reasonable accuracy.

-Advises management & production of potential risks & associated costs related to potential equipment/facility failures.

-Performs all duties taking safety and safe work practices as first priority.

-Interfaces with all other employees, venders, customers, and management in a professional manner.

Physical Requirements of the Equipment Service Technician Machine Repair Preventative Maintenance

-Ability to change into and out of cleanroom attire, standing, sitting, bending, lifting arm(s) over head, extending arm(s) shoulder(s) back (A Minimum of 8 changes per shift).

-Work in the cleanroom for 2 to 6 hour periods

-Climb up/down 66 stairs multiple times per shift.

-Extended pushing, twisting, bending, and turning

-Good dexterity with hands.

-Good eyesight.

-Lift up to 50 pounds.

-Work with and in the presence of chemicals and gasses.

-Work while wearing PPE such as acid resistant clothing

-Work in confined spaces, noise zones, areas without temperature control
