Title: Lead - Application & Solution Architecture
Locations: Orange, CT, Boston, MA; or Rochester, NY
Pay Range: The base salary range for this position is dependent
upon experience and location, ranging from $111,000 - $160,000.

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead in Application
& Solution Architecture to join our team. This role will report to
and support the strategic direction defined by the Senior Manager -
Application & Solution Architecture, Operations & Support. The Lead
will collaborate with IT Innovation & Architecture, Technology,
Platforms, and Operations (TPO), as well as the Global team, to
contribute to the specific technology roadmap and support
initiatives. Additionally, the Lead will work closely with
Technical Leads, providing support to their squads or managing
vendor proof-of-concepts (POCs). Previous experience in the Energy,
Utility, and Customer Services industries is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Report to and support the strategic direction defined by the Senior
Manager - Application & Solution Architecture, Operations &
Support.
Collaborate with IT Innovation & Architecture, TPO, and the Global
team to contribute to the development of the technology roadmap and
support initiatives.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the technical team,
nurturing a culture of professional growth and continuous
development.
Leverage your experience in the Energy, Utility, and Customer
Services industries to drive the design and implementation of
solutions tailored to our unique business requirements.
Collaborate with Technical Leads, either by supporting their squads
or managing vendor proof-of-concepts (POCs), to drive innovation
and deliver successful outcomes.
Define and enforce architecture best practices, ensuring solutions
are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends,
evaluating their potential impact and relevance to our digital
landscape.
Conduct feasibility assessments and provide technical
recommendations for the execution of digital projects.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure the implementation
of robust security measures within digital solutions.
Drive the adoption of architecture certifications and frameworks
within the COE, ensuring consistent standards and quality across
projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in application and solution architecture, with a
focus on digital solutions.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, with
experience implementing security measures within digital
solutions.
Hands-on experience with digital technologies, web development
frameworks (e.g., React, Angular), cloud platforms (e.g., AWS,
Azure), and integration technologies (e.g., APIs,
microservices).
Familiarity with architecture certifications and frameworks, such
as TOGAF or Zachman, and ability to apply best practices to drive
architectural excellence.
Previous experience in the Energy, Utility, and Customer Services
industries is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate
business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to
work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading a team
and driving architectural initiatives.
Ability to stay updated on emerging technologies and industry
trends, continuously improving architectural practices.
Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Relevant certifications in architecture or related areas are highly
advantageous.

Architecture, reporting to and supporting the strategic direction
defined by the Senior Manager. Collaborate with IT Innovation &

your expertise in application and solution architecture, along with
your Energy, Utility, and Customer Services industry experience, to

objectives and security requirements. Foster the growth and
development of the technical team while continuously improving
architectural practices.
