This role is pivotal in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant closings for a variety of commercial loans. You'll serve as the key liaison between loan officers, attorneys, borrowers, and internal departments - keeping everything on track and in alignment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare loan packages and instruction letters for external counsel; collaborate with bank counsel for finalizationOrder appraisals, environmental reports, collateral searches, and supporting documentationTrack loan and line expiration dates, collaborating with lenders to ensure proper action is takenManage and monitor all commitment conditions to ensure timely clearanceServe as the main point of contact for all parties involved in the closing processPrepare and review closing documents, in-house or with closing counselMaintain Excel-based reports to track status, deadlines, and progressProvide post-closing support during the transition to Quality ControlWhat We're Looking For:Experience in loan processing or closing, preferably in commercial lendingStrong organizational skills and attention to detailComfort working with Excel and document systemsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent communication and coordination skillsLocation:This position can be based at either our Oswego headquarters or our East Syracuse branch, depending on candidate preference. Requirements:Associate's degree in finance, business, or equivalent work experience closing real estate loansExcellent customer service skills and a professional demeanorIntermediate computer proficiency (especially with Excel)Strong oral and written communication skillsBasic math skills for loan calculations and document reviewAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectivelyPreferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of Federal and State loan compliance regulationsFamiliarity with financial institution products and servicesPrior experience in commercial or real estate loan processing or closingCompensation details: 21-24 Hourly WagePI4b4c6077c191-25660-37633775
