Responsible for in-process inspection and test verification for Quality, Food Packaging Safety and other requirements. Ensure all QA bench-top test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly. Responsible for documentation, sampling and quarantining of non-conforming material. Maintains other sample requirements as defined. Must be comfortable working with quality testing equipment at the site. All other duties as assigned. Tech Level II Manage Quality, Food Packaging and other System processes as assigned. Develop Quality, Food Packaging and other System procedures and work instructions as assigned. Internal Audit Team Member Responsible for training quality inspectors and production personnel in inspection and test processes. Responsible for conducting team trainings as assigned All other duties as assigned Key Competencies Ethical Conduct Problem Solving /Analysis Technical Capacity Safety Conscious Team Player Detail Oriented Self-Motivated Interpersonal Skills Work Environment Work primarily in a manufacturing environment with possible safety/health hazard potential. Hearing protection, safety shoes, vision and other protection as required. This role requires exposure to a manufacturing environment. Employee may be exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Qualifications: Equivalent combination of education and experience: Associates degree preferred with a concentration in mathematics, Two (2) to five (5) years' experience in a manufacturing environment, or Prior quality experience in a similar role utilizing testing equipment Candidate must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively communicate, get along with others, positive attitude and well organized. Solid working knowledge of quality processes and related manufacturing. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams, and Outlook Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
