Job Description:
Johnson Controls is seeking a driven and knowledgeable Technical
Sales Representative to spearhead sales in our Building Materials
division. As a global leader in smart technologies and solutions
for buildings, we provide innovative products that enhance the
efficiency, sustainability, and security of facilities worldwide.
This role calls for a dynamic professional who can blend technical
expertise with exceptional sales acumen to promote our
state-of-the-art building solutions. Your contribution will
directly impact our mission to transform environments and
revolutionize the way buildings are constructed and maintained,
ensuring customer delight through every interaction. Identify and
cultivate new sales opportunities within the building materials
sector. Articulate technical specifications and benefits of various
building solutions to potential clients and stakeholders. Work
closely with the engineering and product development teams to
understand product offerings and features. Develop and execute
strategic sales plans to meet sales targets and expand customer
base. Provide detailed technical presentations and demonstrations
to potential clients, effectively translating complex technical
jargon into easily understandable terms. Maintain strong
relationships with existing customers while developing new client
relationships. Engage in rigorous market research to stay updated
with industry trends and competitive landscape. Provide feedback
from customers to marketing and product development teams to aid in
product adjustments and improvements. Strong understanding of
building materials and construction processes. Proven ability to
communicate complex technical information clearly and persuasively.
Experienced in CRM software and MS Office. Strong negotiating and
strategic sales planning skills. Excellent interpersonal and
customer service skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Sales certifications (e.g., Certified Professional
Sales Person (CPSP), Certified Sales Leadership Professional
(CSLP)) are preferred. Technical certifications related to building
materials or construction are highly beneficial.
