Job Title: Mammo Technologist Department: Radiology Location: Geneva Destination Campus Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, No Call, No Weekend Rotation Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 SUMMARY: As a Mammography Tech, your demonstrated customer service and communication skills greatly assist you in obtaining images of good diagnostic quality, while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients. RESPONSIBILITIES: Mammography. Perform and/or assists diagnostic, screening, ultrasound and interventional mammography procedures; perform daily and periodic Mammography Quality Assurance (QA) activities under the direct supervision of the mammography QA Technologist; monitor image quality on a continuous basis to ensure that all quality standards are met General Maintenance. Monitor equipment for proper performance and functionality; clean, restock and prepare examination rooms on a daily basis Documentation. Complete all necessary documentation in the radiological information system (RIS) and/or patient charts REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent. NYS license in Radiologic Technology OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) required within six months of employment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prior Radiologic Technologist experience. ARRT-M Advanced Mammography Certification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work various software applications. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. PAY RANGE: $29.25 - $42.00 CITY: Geneva POSTAL CODE: 14456 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
