seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to drive quality excellence
through process improvement, quality system management, and
engineering solutions. This role combines technical expertise with
leadership to ensure product quality, maintain compliance
standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across
the organization. This hands-on role requires significant shop
floor presence, working directly with inspectors and operators to
ensure quality standards are maintained in real-time. The ideal
candidate must be comfortable balancing theoretical quality
principles with practical, day-to-day production support. Key
Responsibilities: Maintain an active floor presence throughout
production areas and work directly with quality personnel to
resolve quality issues in real-time. Guide operators through
complex inspection requirements and troubleshoot quality issues on
the spot. Collaborate with customers to complete source
inspections. Support production with immediate quality decisions.
Ensure proper use of inspection equipment and validate inspection
methods in real production conditions. Assist quality leadership
personnel with auditing company policies, procedures, and systems
that affect product quality to assure compliance with the company’s
quality system and good manufacturing processes. Establish and
implement product and process quality standards while remaining in
compliance with ISO9001, AS9100 and NADCAP requirements. Lead
INCR/NCR investigations. Complete analysis on incoming products and
approve all product receipts. Inspect and test materials,
equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications
are met. Develop user-friendly inspection documentation for
operators, such as visual aids and inspection guidelines. Develop
First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation and procedures.
Maintain inspection documentation system and update inspection
procedures. Specify and order appropriate inspection gauges and
develop gauge control and calibration requirements. Identify
customer flow down requirements. Collaborate with operations
managers on process control development. Develop, implement, and
validate corrective actions for quality issues to prevent issue

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or related
technical field with 3 years quality engineering experience OR
associate’s degree in related technical field with 5 years of
progressive quality experience in manufacturing and comprehensive
understanding of quality principles. Demonstrated proficiency in
GD&T and blueprint reading. Experience with measurement
equipment and gauging systems. Practical knowledge of SPC and
quality tools. Understanding of ISO 9001, AS9001 and NADCAP quality
systems. Background in manufacturing environment – precision
machining or aerospace highly preferred. High proficiency in
computer technology and systems operations. Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills couples with an attention to detail.
Environment & Physical Demands Regularly required to stand, walk,
stoop, kneel, crouch, and communicate effectively (talk/hear). May
involve prolonged periods of both sitting and standing depending on
task requirements. Specific vision abilities include close vision,
distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the
ability to adjust focus; prolonged magnified inspection may be
required, which can lead to eye strain. Requires good hand-eye
coordination and dexterity in hands, arms, and fingers, including
the ability to grasp and manipulate small components. Frequent use
of computers and other standard office or manufacturing equipment.
May involve handling of oils, solvents, and cleaning solutions—lab
coats provided to minimize exposure. Typically performed in a clean
environment; employees are expected to help maintain cleanliness
standards. Safety glasses are required at all times; additional
safety training may be required depending on the area. The work is
performed in a manufacturing setting where noise levels are
generally loud. May rotate between different workstations or shift
tasks during the production process based on operational needs.
