Job Description:
Direct Support Professionals (DSP/Care Providers) provide a
variety of activities to adults with developmental disabilities. It
could be within the home setting, attending our Day Programs,
recreational activities in their home and in the community. Working
with a team, DSPs assist program participants with daily living
skills, personalized goals, arts and crafts, sensory activities,
and accompany on outings in the community such as concerts, local
parks, farm markets, lunch outings, and so much more! Please apply

potential and a future that is secure. AVAILABLE POSITIONS:
Full-time, Part Time and Per Diem opportunities All shifts are
available. (Pay differential for sites staffed 24 hours). WHAT
WOULD I BE DOING? Provides daily care to the people we support with
developmental, intellectual and/or physical disabilities. Assists
and encourages the people we support to care for immediate personal
needs. Assists with planning daily activities and participates in
the activities in small groups. Documents all program data
accurately and timely. Provide transportation as needed with agency
vehicles. Use various software platforms for specific job
functions. All full time DSP’s in the residential program will be
required to obtain and maintain medication certification. Meal
preparation. Working in a team environment. Has a drive to help
others with their personal goals QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DSP: High
School Diploma, or equivalent required. Valid NYS driver's license
with a safe driving record Excellent communication skills. Has a
willingness to learn new skills (we provide paid training).
