Job Summary Window World is seeking a full-time Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for servicing previously installed windows and doors to ensure customer satisfaction through professional workmanship and timely issue resolution. In addition to service calls, the technician will also handle smaller installation jobs as needed. The technician will cover one day per week in the Rochester area , with the remainder of the week focused on Buffalo, Jamestown, and Syracuse territories. This role includes the use of a Window World-provided service van. Key Responsibilities Travel to customer homes using a company-provided van to diagnose and resolve service-related issues. Perform minor installations (e.g., single windows, storm doors) as assigned. Cover one day per week servicing the Rochester market. Troubleshoot product or installation issues and complete repairs with minimal need for follow-up. Use a metal brake to bend aluminum coil for trim and capping work, as needed during service or installation jobs. Maintain a clean, professional work area in customers homes and in the service van. Complete all necessary paperwork, including service reports and customer acknowledgments. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient resolution of service tickets. Qualifications Experience with window and door installation or service is required. Proficiency using a metal brake to bend and form exterior aluminum trim. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. Valid drivers license and clean driving record. Ability to lift heavy products and work in varied weather conditions.
