Job Title: Med/Surg RN Profession: RN Level 2 Specialty: Long Term Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days/Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Long Term Care setting License: RN License (New York only) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only) Must-Have: - RN License (New York only) - Two years experience in Long Term Care - BLS certification from American Heart Association Description: Provide care for older adults in a long term care environment. Provide direct patient care, assessments, documentation, and implementation of the nursing plan of care. Oversee LPN and CNA colleagues. Administer medications. Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and delegation skills are highly desirable. Patients will be geriatric residents with wound care needs, but no tracheostomy care.
