Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/06/2026 - Duration: 14 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Acute Care /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour shifts in emergency department with day/night/weekend/holiday rotation /n• Shift times: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke Certification (AHA or RQI only) /n• Minimum one year acute hospital experience as a registered professional nurse required /n• Two years emergency department experience preferred /n• NYS RN licensure required /n• NIHSS certification required /n• Conduct patient triage and assign priority of care using ESI standards /n• Perform primary and secondary assessments for patients of all age groups /n• Utilize invasive and non-invasive procedures and therapeutic interventions /n• Manage life-threatening and routine emergency situations /n• Provide patient and family education for discharge planning /n• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress /n• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members /n• Maintain infection prevention compliance /n• Assess physiological, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs of patients and families /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates as a memorial hospital providing comprehensive emergency department services to the community.
